Midweek Randoms

1. Girls morning out! A and I had a morning out together. It was so strange to head out the door with just one baby. What to do when it is just us girls--Shopping for shoes!!! 3 pairs of shoes and 1 new doll later the shopping trip was a success :)

2. M had his own time out last week. He went on a play date to meet his little friend for some yummy chick fil a and playing on the indoor playground. His big brother was still on break so he joined them (this gave the mommies some time to catch up:) M loved going down the slide. He was a little overwhelmed with the noise in there but after a few more waffle fries he was ready to try again.

3. I finally was brave enough to take the twins to the playground. The weather was overcast but not too cold. I am so glad I had J with me though. These two were all over the place. When we are outside I can not keep them together. A wants to run the entire time! M wants to play but is does not go far from me. I hope to find a smaller toddler park that is fenced in for these two.

4. It is homecoming week at the high school. C and I went out this past weekend to get everything he needs for the dance. New Sperry's (check), new bow tie (check), order corsage (check), set up the sitters so I won't have to take the twins in the car when we pick up the date (check)!! I have already told him to be prepared for pictures!

5.  L had so much fun at the UNC/Miami game!! It helped that Miami pulled it out at the end for the win. He came home from their overnight trip and headed right to a birthday party at Frankie's Fun Park then had soccer practice. That boy was so tired and had no voice by Friday night. He said it was worth it though, he had the best time away with his dad!

6.  J and I headed out two weeks ago to "Boo" some friends in the neighborhood. If you have not done that you should! It was so much fun and I love to see the kids get excited to leave their friends treats at the door. The idea is to no get caught. I was driving our new suburban and had no idea how to turn off the automatic lights. J kept asking me how I turn on the lights and I told him they just turn on every time the car is turned on, ok so maybe I should read the manual a little better! I was able to turn off the inside lights so they could not see who was jumping in the car. The first house we "Boo-ed" also has a fake snake in the yard, I reminded J if he stepped on anything squishy just to keep running. I have never seen that boy run so fast while laughing away. It was priceless! I love that special time with my kids!
