When dad is away we play....

Well not really, Luke still had to go to school everyday. Caleb had his morning high school workouts. In the evenings Caleb worked the soccer camp while Luke participated. In between all the carpool we had to make extra trips to the grocery store to replace what we lost in the power outage. It was a long week. Even Abby was in tears when I told her we had to get back in the car again. They are not used to being in the car 6-8 times a day. They were over being buckled in! We did make extra trips to Chick-fil-a to help make the car ride better.

On Sunday we took the day off! We let all the house work go, we let the dishes pile up in the sink, we spent the day relaxing.

We started our day at church. Abby tried to convince Matthew to go back to Sunday School but he was not having it. He was in tears and grabbing my leg before we reached his classroom. That boy! We ended up sitting in the lobby. Matthew did greet all the people coming in. He was so happy standing there with our greeters telling everyone hi! When the classes started I took him out to run on the playground.

After church we came home for a quick lunch and movie before heading to Luke's soccer practice. While Luke had his practice Caleb and I spent some fun time on the playground with the twins. They love their big brother so much! What a special time.

Trying to cool off in the car after playground time. The twins didn't mind waiting on Luke since they were climbing all over the car.

Since we were on the other side of town for soccer we had to make a stop in Publix. Subs, sugar cookies, and sweet tea for dinner!! Perfect!

Monday it was back to school for Luke, washing cars, cleaning up the yard, and soccer camp!

We are all ready for daddy and Joshua to come home!

Twins Birthday Celebration

The twins woke up to a special pancake birthday breakfast--M&M pancakes with whip cream and sprinkles. They also opened their first presents from Aunt Shannon and Uncle Scott--Scooters!! What fun. Then it was time to send their brothers off to school and play with their new presents.

For lunch we went to my parents house to celebrate the twins birthdays, Jacob's 8th birthday, and Father's Day! Playtime with cousins, bouncy house fun, and cake- Yummy!

Abby helped bake her first cake, she was in charge of the sprinkles!

When the boys came home it was time for presents and cake.

I asked the twins what they wanted for dinner, Abby was set that she wanted McDonalds (I tried to talk her out of it!) When a 3 year old asks for McDonalds that is what we get--Happy Meals.
The big boys were off to soccer practice/camp so we enjoyed dinner and a movie before bedtime.

Perfect way to celebrate these two! Happy 3rd Birthday Abby and Matthew!
