Disney World-January 1st with the twins

The twins had a blast on their first trip to Disney World. A was so excited to see the big castle, meet the characters, and ride the rides. Her favorite was meeting Rapunzel and riding Dumbo over and over again with Daddy. M could care less! He did not want to ride anything, he loved to run around in the open space, he loved meeting Stitch and Buzz Lightyear, took a great nap while A rode some rides, and really enjoyed the shows.

It was such a sweet time to have some one on one time with the twins, the boys had no problem staying behind at the resort with their Grandma. They had their big day on Saturday with a trip to Universal/Islands of Adventure.

Our day--we woke up and were at the park by 7:15. The twins loved the ferry ride over and immediately went to see the castle. After a quick ride on the carousel we were off to meet Mickey Mouse. I love the fast pass at Disney, after messing up on my times they helped us fix our schedule and even gave us one extra fast pass for the day--Yay!  We only had to wait in an actual line twice all day.
Mickey- A went right up, M on the other hand dropped to the floor and tried to crawl under the ropes and back out the door. After Eric picked him up he finally warmed up to Mickey and gave him a high five on the way out.

Next we were off to Buzz Light year ride. A and Eric waited in a short line for this one while M and I ran around in the open space. It was great that it was so quiet first thing in the morning. While waiting M spotted Stitch, he had no idea who this character was but went right up to him and gave him a big hug! So sweet.

Time to meet A's favorite princess- Rapunzel. She spent awhile talking with her, it was so sweet. Next she gave Cinderella a quick hug on the way out. M ran around in circles while waiting for his sister, we tried to get him to say hi to the princesses but he wanted NOTHING to do with them.

More walking around the park. First we climbed the Swiss Family Robinson tree, it was a perfect break for the twins from the stroller.  Then A discovered the Dumbo ride! She had so much fun, as soon as she was off she kept asking Eric to PLEASE ride again! How can you say no! Thankfully the line was short.

We also had a fast pass to ride the Buzz Lightyear ride again, after the ride the twins were able to meet Buzz. A was not so sure about him and M just keep reaching over to try to push his buttons. He could not understand why they would not beep and light up like his toy.

Before we left A and I went on the  Little Mermaid ride. We finished the day watching the afternoon show at the castle. The twins loved this show! At the end they set off fireworks. By 2:00 we were back on the ferry heading out. The crowds were getting crazy and the twins were finished.

On the way home M was happy to find an old iphone in the car while A went right to sleep.

Perfect day at Disney with these two!!
