Celebrating with friends...
This year for J's birthday he played in a charity soccer tournament with his soccer buddies. After a day of playing soccer all the boys joined us for some pizza and cupcakes. It was the perfect day for this soccer fanatic-- raising money for Kay Yow foundation, hanging out with his soccer buddies all day, pizza, and cupcakes!! After celebrating he came home to hang out with one of his best friends-these 2 have been playing soccer together since they were little! They are growing up too fast!

Celebrating with dad...
J and Eric went on their own special father/son birthday outing. This year they headed off to watch the Carolina Hurricanes. What fun--Go Canes!! Before going J opened up one of his gifts-his birthday tradition, a new jersey with his age on the back. They also found time to do a little shopping at Dick's on their way to the game. J was so excited to pick out some new soccer gear with his birthday $ from his friends.
Celebrating at home...
We had fun decorating the house and spoiling J all day. For breakfast we made his favorite-pancakes with strawberries, cool whip, and chocolate chips. Later we ran out to pick up some HOT Krispy Kreme donuts, Papa Murphy's pizza for dinner, and Sonic for lunch (yummy).

J ended his day with having the grandparents, aunt, uncle, and cousins all over for a pizza party with ice cream cake.
