1. A few weeks ago I take out the wash and there are yellow marks all over the white clothes. I then found the yellow crayon. Wonderful :( After watching A like a hawk for a few days we discovered she was putting crayons in her footie pjs. A few times changing her we would find a crayon. The crayons have now gone up and we only allow a few out at a time when they are in the high chairs.
2. L and I were working on one of his school projects for school and I turn to see M walking over to my chair with my cup of coffee. I jumped to grab it from but it was too late. The coffee was all over my sweater, pants, and had splattered on M. I was in a panic, I screamed for Eric to help me as we ran him over to the sink. Thankfully I never get to drink my hot coffee so the coffee was cold. It took me a minute to notice that I was not burned so M was fine too. That was one of the days that ended in tears.
3. The crayon makes an appearance again, seriously I have no idea where this one came from. I opened the dryer Saturday to find a melted red crayon. Yes, all the clothes are now covered with red marks-ugh!! I am not even sure when a certain little one had a chance to stick it in there or where they even got it from. We keep the laundry room door closed but somehow between the 7 loads that day they made it in there and were quick enough to place a crayon in the dryer. Now if I could just figure out which one??
4. The crayons and coffee seems like nothing when dealing with high school. We are trying to survive one certain teacher. The countdown is on to be out of her class. I am trying to teach C that he may not like every teacher but he has to learn to deal with them. Once we make it past this semester and he will no longer have her I will let her know how she is turning off her students from learning but for now it is all about both of us learning patience.
5. This morning A slipped on a book and bumped her head on the wall. The screams and tears started. I grabbed an ice pack and sat with her on the couch. M did not like that she was getting all the attention so he walked over to the same wall, lightly hit his head and fell down on the floor and started to cry. Seriously, those are one of the moments I just had to laugh at.
What I have learned lately....
**The twins can now reach the table to get what they want.
**There is a secret stash of crayons somewhere in the house that I can not find.
**Need to hand both babies an ice pack at the same time to prevent another injury.
**Teachers, ugh!! There are just some out there set to ruin high school for their students.
Look Mom, I can grab the Cheerios myself!! |
You mean you did not need help unpacking all this from your bags! |
