Random Acts of Kindness

After writing about the tough moments yesterday I thought today would be perfect to write about the "special" moments. During the month of November I challenged the family to do random acts of kindness. The idea was to write what you did and put it in our jar, at our Thanksgiving meal we would read them out loud. The boys were not allowed to tell us or write their names on the papers. It was all about doing something kind without looking for credit. These boys amaze me! I loved listening to what they had written down.
Some of those random acts.....
*held the door open for my teacher
*gave a friend my smarties
*put back a shopping cart
*helped a lady with her groceries
*took out the trash without being asked
* TOLD MOM I LIKED HER SHOES ( so sweet)
*helped someone find a soccer field when they were lost
*raked leaves

All of these and more were so special, I love watching these boys grow into kind young men!
