Family time at the Mountain house

2013 brought some sadness and heartache but was also a year full of joy! So thankful for all the special times and the day to day blessing we received this past year. We are looking forward to seeing what 2014 has in store for our family.

Christmas Day

We woke up Christmas morning with A sleeping in our bed, M was out in his crib, and 3 boys were laughing away in their room waiting to come downstairs. What a sweet morning. Watching 5 kids from a teenager to toddlers get excited about Christmas morning is the best. Once M woke up and all the new Christmas PJs were on the unwrapping began. The twins each opened a gift and they were finished. They both were off with their new toy and had no interest in opening more gifts. The boys each took turns opening gifts then helped the twins with the rest of their gifts. When the gifts were all opened we sat down for our annual sausage bread breakfast. I enjoyed a great cup of coffee from my new Keurig while watching the boys try on their new cleats and jerseys.

Later that morning we packed up the car with gifts and headed off to my parents house to celebrate with my sister and her family. We had a great Christmas lunch with a lot of yummy desserts. More gifts were opened, a lot of sweet family time, and then it was time to head home for afternoon naps.
