Life with the twins lately...

It is hard to believe in a few weeks we will be celebrating these two turning 3! I am trying to cherish every minute, I know how quick this stage goes....

The twins stay busy with all the boys activities in the afternoon but during the day it is all twin time!
We start the morning by sending Joshua and Luke off on the bus...

The morning is filled with a lot of playtime outside....

National Junior Honor Society

This month Joshua was inducted into the National Junior Honor Society. We are always amazed at how well he balances all of his school work, school activities, volunteering, and travel soccer.

Congratulations Joshua we are so proud of you!!

Weekend away

Last month I had a weekend away with Caleb and Luke. This time Caleb had a soccer tournament at the beach! Yay, my favorite place to go for a soccer tournament. Eric was coaching and Joshua had a scrimmage so they stayed home with the twins.

I love having some one on one time with each of the kids. Caleb's team did great, they won both of their games and I was able to see Caleb score a great goal.

After the game we checked into the hotel before heading to the beach. The weather did not cooperate but that did not stop us. If the beach is only 5 minutes from the hotel we were going.

Saturday night we ended up at sports store looking at cleats, of course! Then it was off to Five Guys for dinner followed by the best ice cream at one of the local ice cream shops.

That night the boys tried to explain all the X-Men movies to me while we watched one of them.

Sunday, we made a quick run to Dunkin Donuts before heading back to the fields. Luke and I enjoyed a nice walk around the park. It is so sweet to have time to just listen to everything this boy has to say!

While we were away it rained most of the weekend on Eric. They ended up having a lot of time inside, Joshua was a great help keeping the twins entertained!

Mother's Day 2015

This year  for Mother's Day I was surprised with a Mother's Day weekend. I was so moved by all the time and thought the family put into making my weekend so incredibly special. For the past few years we have been apart on Mother's Day (soccer) and I always seem to have a sick one at home. This year we only had one soccer game, it was at 8:00 am 45 minutes away but Eric took Joshua to that game.

My Mother's Day started when I received this note..

 Time out with my teenagers...

A girl movie with Eric and my beautiful flowers

 Sunday....
Time with my little guy....we had planned for a picnic at the park but Tropical Storm Ana changed that plan and we had a picnic on the porch instead.

Sunday afternoon (after taking a nice nap:)...

Sunday night was dinner and the sweetest gifts.

Wow, what an incredible weekend. I felt so loved and blessed. When I woke up Monday morning I was ready to take on the week and then I had your typical HARD Monday. Eric kept saying just remember your weekend. Yes, I wanted to just go back for one more day but real life was calling.
