L and his 3v3

For L this summer it was all about traveling with his dad (and big brother) on the weekends for 3v3 soccer tournaments. He had been looking forward to this for months. Both of the older boys had their summers of 3v3 tournaments, now it was L's turn! They traveled around  NC for 5 weekends  and ended down in Myrtle Beach for the 6th and last tournament of the summer. They even participated in their first twilight soccer tournament. The championship game was at 10:00 at night! What a great summer break! He was able to spend time with his soccer buddies that live across town. During the Fall and Spring Seasons he plays against them in our league, he loves having the summer to hang out and play with them. Such a sweet group of boys! When I look at these pictures I see that big smile of his. I just love the joy that is on his face when he plays! He loves soccer but he loves his time with his friends. They had a great time hanging out under the tent, spray painting their hair, going out for celebration ice cream, hitting the hot tub at the hotel, staying up after midnight, going to the beach, making ice cream sundaes, just hanging out with each, and of course playing a few soccer games :)
