Summer Checklist
Every summer we make a check list of special activities we want to do. I love all the activities that the boys come up with . Some of them we do together as a family, others are special activities for the older boys! We want all of them to enjoy their break from school. We only have 4 weeks off with everyone home, it goes so quickly. Something different we did this year was no camps during their break! Yay! Last summer we were so busy running back and forth between camps. This year we decided to take these 4 weeks and slow down. The boys are still off for sleepovers with friends and a guys weekend is planned but it is so nice to not have to be anywhere. Of course there is still soccer pick-up and high school play. These boys need to get out all that extra energy :)

June Recap
June was a month full of celebrations! We celebrated the twins 3rd birthday, Father's Day, my nephews birthday, Caleb finishing 10th grade, Joshua finishing 7th, and Luke finishing 3rd. The twins started their first soccer class. Joshua went to Arkansas. Caleb and Luke participated in the high school soccer camp. (Caleb worked it and Luke was a camper). We also started our summer checklist. Time to slow down and enjoy summer time!

End of 4th Grade
It is hard to believe this guy has just completed another school year. It seems like we blinked and the 4th grade year is over. Luke had a great year! He had a tough but very caring teacher. She did have to move his seat once when she said she would get caught up in a long debate with him. I loved that she was able to challenge him and that he learned so much this year. He loved his reading challenge and ended up third in the school for AR points!! Way to go Luke. Last year he had 480 points, this year his goal was to beat Joshua's highest year (530pts). The last week of school and he ended with 531 points! Love it!!
On the last week of school I was able to join his class for the end of the year 4th grade celebration. Picnic, water balloons, and kickball!! Fun times!!

Southern Regional Championship-Arkansas
What an amazing year with Joshua and his soccer team. Many of the boys have been playing together for the past 5+ years. They have spent many summers playing 3v3, won indoor national championships, lost in the finals of national championships, won countless tournaments, lost in PKs in the semi-finals of the Disney showcase, won the state championship, and now semi-finalists in the southern regional championships!
The boys were off for 7 days to Little Rock, Arkansas to compete against the other state winners in our region. (Florida, South Texas, North Texas, Arkansas, Georgia, Tennessee, Louisiana, South Carolina, Alabama, Mississippi, and Oklahoma). The boys did an excellent job representing North Carolina. They lost in the semi-final game to North Texas. That was a tough loss for the boys. It was also a sad way to end the season. These boys are a great group of boys! We are so proud of them and how hard they worked all season! I can't wait to watch each of them grow over the next few years!
