Abby loved her first year of ballet. The countdown to her first recital began weeks ago when we brought home her recital costume. She could not wait to wear all the sparkles!

Dating My Husband-May
The twins first trip apart...
The last weekend of April Caleb had a 3 games in Wilmington, Luke had 2 games in Charlotte, and Joshua had a home game. We knew it was going to be a tough weekend with the twins dragging them all over the state so we decided it was time for their first trip apart. Abby was so excited to go with her daddy and Caleb to the soccer tournament at the beach trip. She went out and bought new sand toys, shoes, sunglasses...this girl was ready to go. She had the best time! She definitely will be our little traveler.

April Recap
April has been a crazy month with soccer travel. We had two trips to the beach, two trips to Charlotte, and one to Greensboro. It was a lot of divide and conquer this month. We also celebrated Caleb turning 17! Kept the twins busy with their school activities. And had soccer tryouts. This would be why there was no time to blog last month!!
A day at the beach..
I love when soccer games take us to Wilmington. This weekend Luke had two games early in the day so of course we had to make a trip to the beach afterwards! Yay!! I loved having some one on one time with this kid!
Basketball Fun
Some days it is the little things that make me smile...today it was walking outside watching my big boys in a basketball game. These four are so competitive. I just love watching them take a break from their soccer, school, and electronic devices just to have some family fun!

Happy 17th Birthday Caleb
Today the one who made me a mom is now 17. We started off his birthday weekend with meeting his lunch friends at the park.
The boys last track out
We have reached the last track out for Joshua. After this next stretch of school he will be officially finished with year round school calendar and off to the traditional calendar. We wanted to make sure that it was extra special.

Dating My Husband-April
This month was going to be crazy with all the soccer travel and tournaments. We had one Saturday morning with nothing, it was pouring raining but we still made it out for our monthly date.
This month our date was heading out to find a new sofa--I know, exciting!! Yes the life of being married for 19years. We went shopping for a new sofa and then spent the rest of the morning out browsing stores. After our shopping we stopped for breakfast and then yummy cupcakes.

Dad is away....
Caleb and Eric may be enjoying the Florida sunshine but the rest of us are having fun at home..
The boys still had soccer practice so we spent a lot of time at the field having picnics and playing soccer.

Family Day
Caleb and Eric made it home from their Florida visit with a few days left of spring break. The first day home we had a family day out at the park.

Spring Break- Caleb
Spring Break means college tours for Caleb. Seriously, how are we here! We decided over his break would be the best time for a father-son trip to look at the colleges, without all the siblings. The first stop Palm Beach. Maybe it wasn't the best idea to start at a school that is located in sunny Florida a few blocks from the beach!

Easter
It was strange having Caleb and Eric gone for Easter this year. We had our family celebration but on Easter Day we had our traditional Easter. The family came over, the kids had their Easter Egg hunt (on the porch this year because of all the rain), we had our Easter dinner, and the Easter bunny brought a special Easter Basket for the family.
St. Patrick's Day
The twins are all about holidays, why not celebrate a day we can wear green. Abby was stuck on today being Uncle Patrick Day.
Happy Early Easter
This year we celebrated our family Easter a week early since Caleb and Eric will be off on their spring break college tour on Easter Sunday. We had a family dinner, took our traditional family picture, and all the kids received their Easter baskets. It was such a sweet time to step away from the busy schedules and focus on the reason why we celebrate Easter.
Happy Birthday Faith
I just love this girl! My beautiful niece. The twins were so excited to help her celebrate her 6th birthday. The boys wanted to go with us but I made them go to school :)

Two months...
I can't believe it has been over two months since I have sat down to write a blog post. Where has the time gone? Life has been so crazy with these 5 and Eric's schedule. Any time I sit down to write life comes up. Now it is Mother's Day morning, we have to leave in 45 minutes to travel to Caleb's soccer game. Until then I thought I would catch up on my blog or at least start a new post and probably finish it next week :)
