Today the kids had an ice day so I spent sometime catching up on my blog. I love my blog, I have printed out each year to have for the kids as a memory book. Today when I opened my blog I could not believe that it has been almost a month since I have posted anything. I am constantly thinking I need to sit down and write something but every time I sit down life happens. Today I tried to catch up, there are a lot of new blog posts! First a quick update on life with the family
Life with 5 kids, from college to elementary, autism advocate, twin mom, soccer mom, learning as we go.

Twins first travel soccer game-2016
It is not spring yet but outdoor soccer has begun. Caleb had a tournament in Charlotte. Joshua had 3 futsal games here along with an early morning training. We dropped him off with friends for the night. Luke had his first tournament of the season in Winston-Salem, 2 hours from here. Thankfully we were expecting some nice weather for the weekend! I started packing the twins bag. For one game at a field 2 hours away I packed three bags. We had extra coats in case it was cold. We had hats, gloves, and lighter jackets. We had change of clothes for both because they are three years old! We had extra shoes. We had snacks--a lot of snacks. We had lollipops. We had soccer balls for both. We had toys, books, and ipads. We had Luke and his soccer gear! Whew!! I think it was easier when they were infants and sat in the stroller during the games!!
Snow Day
The kids finally had a snow day, it was more of an ice day but there was some snow that fell on top of it.
The twins and I lasted a few minutes out there. I took a few pictures and headed back in, they had no problem following me in.

While the big kids are away the twins will play
When the big boys left on their trip down to Florida this guy was left in tears. He did not want to stay behind. After a few tears we were able to make the crying stop when we handed him the boys xbox controller. He such a boy, he was over it so quickly since he was going to have the xbox all to himself!
Guys trip to Florida
This year Luke's 3v3 soccer tournament in Disney happened to fall over track out for Joshua and after final exams for Caleb. The big boys were ready to join Luke and Eric for a road trip down to Florida. 6 days in sunny Florida, lots of soccer, and family time. The twins and I stayed behind this trip. Twins and 3v3 soccer do not go great right now. The fields are a little too busy to try to keep little ones off!
We also wanted the boys to be able to have some BIG boys time without having to drag 2 three year olds around :)

Girls Day Out
Abby was so excited to have a girls day out. She picked out her favorite dress (Elsa) and all her jewelry. We were off to the mall with my mom.
