Fall soccer

Fall soccer begins.... Good Luck boys!!

Caleb-Heritage High Varsity

Joshua-Carolina Railhawks Academy

Luke-CASL U11 Academy

Joshua 3v3

What do soccer boys do when they have one weekend, actually one morning free from soccer. They decide to put together a little team to play in the local soccer 3v3. This has to be my favorite age to watch 3v3. I love watching Luke's age but when the boys get to this age it is all about fun again! No coaches, no practices, they just get out and play the game they love. Eric was out there on the sideline to do the subs and this year he recruited the cutest little assistant coaches to help him out.

Game time against friends! Love the smiles!

Luke's summer 3v3 Soccer

Summer time means 3v3 time. This year was a little different, this summer we only participated in a few tournaments instead of filling our weekend with soccer. Yay! It was great for Luke to have a weekend each month with his soccer buddies that play across town. Summer time they play together, fall and spring the play against each other :) such fun!! The summer also gives Luke a chance to play with one of his favorite coaches--Coach Brian! For the past 4 summers he has been playing with most of these boys, I can't believe how much they have grown! This summer they won some, they lost some. They took home first in a couple and third in the World Cup in Asheville. What a great summer for these boys!

Birthday Celebration

This year my birthday fell on a Tuesday. Luke and Joshua had soccer training, Caleb was coming home from overnight soccer camp, and Eric had to coach. I was fine with skipping my birthday, we celebrated the big 4-0 last year so I was ready to stop counting after last year :) The kids and Eric of course would not allow it so he set up a special date night with my boys (minus Caleb who was away at camp) the night before.
I had the sweetest dinner out at Angus Barn -yum!!

When we came home the twins and Eric were standing at the door with cake, balloons, and flowers. Eric had taken both of them to the store to help him pick out everything. He said they were the best helpers.

Abby was so excited about the cookie cake she helped pick out. The cake said "You are beautiful". It was perfect! Abby is always telling me I am beautiful. That girl just melts my heart.
After our celebration it was time for gifts. The boys gave me some new bracelets, Abby picked out pink converse shoes, Matthew gave me a new coffee cup, and Eric gave me a gift card for a massage-YAY!!!

On my actual birthday the boys were off to school. The twins and I started our morning with bubbles outside. What an awesome way to spend my 41st birthday, playing with bubbles.

After we popped a lot of bubbles the twins wanted to take me on a walk. Of course I had to wear my new pink tennis shoes!

Later that morning Abby and I were off for a little shopping at the mall. Eric told us to pick up lunch while we were out. We decided on Coldstone Creamery! Ice cream for lunch, perfect!

The rest of the day was back to usual--homework with the boys, pick Caleb up from high school soccer camp, and soccer carpool for Joshua and Luke.

What a sweet way to celebrate my birthday, spending the day with these cuties!
