Our soccer family!
It is official all the Bratager kids are now playing soccer. I now have 6 different soccer schedules on the calendar (the kids and Eric:) The twins started their first soccer class this week. They both were so excited to go. They both picked out their special soccer ball and World Cup water bottles to bring. As soon as we got there they were on the field. They loved the warm up time and running sprints. After water break Matthew lost interest. He had no desire to play games, he was all about kicking the ball where he wanted to. Abby loved the class and was always right there with the teachers. We went back on Weds. for the second class. That time Matthew was very overwhelmed. He preferred to play soccer when no one else was around. He spent most of the class sitting on the couch with Caleb while Abby participated with the group. They both talked all about the class the entire way home. As soon as we walked in the door Matthew went right to his goal and started doing the drills the kids learned in class that morning. He was too funny, he wouldn't do it there with the other kids but he still picked up on everything. My sweet boy. Today they both asked if they could go back to soccer, it is going to be a long week waiting for the next soccer class!
