Saying goodbye to Elementary school

Wow, this was a hard one. For the past 12 years we have been walking thru the doors at Heritage, now it is time to say goodbye. I tell Luke all the time he started going to the school when I was pregnant with him. After he was born he was dragged to every school event and play. It was finally his turn to attend the school and just like that he is also finished.

Saying goodbye is so hard when you love so many of the teachers and the staff.  Yes we get to do the elementary school years again but we are no longer assigned to this school. I am not sure where the twins will end up but I really hope they have the same experience all the boys had.

Last ride on the bus--from waiting in strollers with their big brothers to finishing 5th grade!

For Luke his last day of school was spent roller skating at the 5th grade celebration then it was time for the official clap out

Joshua was able to join me for his last walk out of school, it was very fitting since Joshua was the one who was with him when he walked into school as a student for the first time.
